About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the installation, daily operation, maintenance, and problem resolution for a telecommunications network. This role maintains relevant certifications, provides support to the Yurok Connect Program, and involves travel around the reservation as needed. The position is based out of Klamath.
Requirements
- Certified Tower Climber
- G10: High School or GED plus 1 year specialized experience
- G11: High School plus 3 year specialized experience
- G12: High School plus 5 year specialized experience
Responsibilities
- Climbing telecommunication towers.
- Activities necessary to maintain status as a certified climber.
- Troubleshooting and repairing backup power systems.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs wireless Client Premise Equipment (CPE) at customer locations and the Tribe's telecommunications network and equipment.
- Maintains and manages the customer database.
