About the position
Intuit is seeking experienced Tax Experts to assist clients during the tax season. This role involves providing tax advice, preparing tax returns, and managing inquiries related to Intuit's TurboTax products. The position is fully remote, allowing for collaboration with a dedicated team from the comfort of your home or office.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
- Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
- Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
- Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
- Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
- Active, unrestricted credential (EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney) with strong tax preparation experience.
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with commercial tax preparation software.
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
