About the position
Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season to assist customers in completing their taxes using TurboTax products. This role involves providing tax advice, full service return preparation, and managing product inquiries, all while working remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and a passion for helping clients navigate tax complexities.
Responsibilities
- Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
- Provide tax advice and full service return preparation.
- Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
- Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
- Document interactions to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
- Active, unrestricted credential (EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney) with strong tax preparation experience.
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with commercial tax preparation software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
