About the position
Intuit is seeking a Certified Tax Accountant to assist customers during the tax season. This role involves providing tax advice, preparing tax returns, and managing inquiries related to Intuit's TurboTax products. The position is fully remote, allowing for collaboration with a team while working from home or an office.
Responsibilities
- Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
- Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
- Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
- Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
- Document interactions to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
- Active, unrestricted credential (EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney).
- Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Excellent customer service skills.

- Experience using commercial tax preparation software.
- Ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools.
