About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in General cases. The role is based in a hospital setting in Lufkin, TX, requiring both clinical work and on-call duties. The coverage period is from July 31, 2026, to October 30, 2026. The CRNA will administer anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical cases, including pediatric, neuro, general, ENT, urology, orthopedic, adult general, GYN, cardiovascular, vascular, neurospine, podiatry, GI, plastics, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and obstetrics. Additionally, the role involves providing labor epidurals and spinal anesthesia for C-sections. The practice operates under a medical direction model, and participation in a beeper call rotation from home is expected. Maintaining or developing regional anesthesia proficiency is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

• Active TX license
• BC required
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a broad range of surgical cases including pediatric, neuro, general, ENT, urology, orthopedic, adult general, GYN, cardiovascular, vascular, neurospine, podiatry, GI, plastics, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and obstetrics.
• Provide labor epidurals and spinal anesthesia for C-sections.
• Practice under a medical direction model.
• Participate in call rotation from home as needed.
• Develop or maintain regional anesthesia proficiency.
