About The Position
Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a 5-star rated nursing home providing compassionate care to older adults since 1943, is seeking talented and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who value older adults to join their team. This is a weekend-only position, working every Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 3 pm. The role offers the opportunity to help maintain high standards of care and contribute to a supportive environment focused on serving residents with kindness, patience, and compassion.
Requirements
- Current PA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA Certification)
- Genuine concern for the needs of older adults.
- Strong customer service skills with both internal & external customers.
Responsibilities
- Providing professional, compassionate care to residents.
- Maintaining a person-centered, homelike environment while following the resident care profile and care plan.
- Carrying out written, oral, and diagram instructions while meeting the total health needs of the resident.
- Assisting residents during mealtimes.
- Encouraging and motivating residents to participate in therapies and activities.
- Providing friendly, timely, and responsive customer service to all.
