About The Position

Bring your caregiving skills to a one-on-one home care setting where quality, consistency, and compassion matter. McKenney Home Care is a family-owned private-duty home care agency serving Lee and Collier County. We are currently seeking Florida CNAs and experienced HHAs to support clients in the Naples area with personalized, in-home care. This position is a strong fit for CNAs and HHAs who enjoy building trust with clients, working in a private home setting, and providing attentive care without the pace of a facility environment. Flexible Scheduling Private-duty home care allows for a variety of scheduling options based on client needs and caregiver availability. Current opportunities may include: Morning shifts such as 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–2:00 PM Short or split shifts, including 2–3 hour AM or PM visits Standard shifts of 4–6 hours Extended day or overnight shifts of 7–12 hours 12-hour day and overnight shifts are frequently available Schedules vary by client, with opportunities for consistent, ongoing assignments.

Requirements

Active Florida CNA license or certified 75hr or 120hr Home Health Aide
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Hands-on CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
TB test within the last 6 months or chest X-ray within the last 5 years
Level 2 AHCA background screening, or willingness to complete
Strong hands-on care skills and good judgment in a home setting
Professional communication, attention to detail, and dependable attendance
Ability to provide consistent, compassionate care to clients and families

Responsibilities

Provide attentive personal care and support in a private home setting
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility
Support safe transfers, ambulation, and fall-prevention practices
Provide companionship and help clients feel comfortable, respected, and supported
Assist clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other memory care needs
Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment through light housekeeping and laundry
Provide medication reminders only; no medication administration
Observe and report changes in condition to the office and nursing team
Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team
