About the position

The Pulmonology department focuses specifically on the pulmonary system, which includes the lungs, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles, and all components involved in breathing and respiration. In this role, you will assist RNs, LPNs, and other professional staff in providing patient care. Responsibilities include notifying patients of follow-up regarding office procedures, rooming patients, taking vital signs, weighing patients, performing ECGs on selected patients, and other incidental duties as required.

- Room patients and take vital signs.
- Weigh patients and perform ECGs on selected patients.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in the State of Colorado following completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant course.
- 1-2 years front office experience including answering phones, typing 40 wpm, public interaction, and knowledge of computers.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
- Experience with Meditech and QHN desired.
- BCLS required within 45 days of hire.
