About the position
As a CNA2 at Asante, you will have the opportunity to earn shift differentials for hours worked during specific times, including $1.21 extra per hour for hours worked between 3:00pm-11:00pm, $2.05 extra per hour for hours worked between 11:00pm-7:00am, and $1.05 extra per hour for weekend shifts. Responsibilities
- Become a vital member of the patient care team and build a strong relationship with the RNs
- Promote patient safety and comfort while actively participating in patient satisfaction
- Demonstrate advanced Responsive Observations knowledge base in practice of care
- Document patient and family responses and effectiveness of teaching and interventions per department standards
- Provide excellent communication between staff and patients and patient families
- Promote and maintain Asante's Vision and Values
Requirements
- CNA-2 certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
