About the position
Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to provide high-quality, compassionate, and personalized care for diverse birthing patients and newborns. The role involves delivering full-scope midwifery care, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services, within a supportive and collegial team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope midwifery care including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and GYN services.
- Work 36 hours per week across various clinic and Labor & Delivery shifts.
- Participate in on-call coverage scheduled 2 months in advance by the team.
- Teach students and raise awareness of midwifery services in the community.
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing or midwifery.
- Registered nurse license.
- Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
- Minimum of two years of experience providing full-scope midwifery care as a certified nurse midwife.
- Current Basic Life Support 'C' certification and NPR status.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with newborns preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
