About The Position

Lifespace Communities is seeking an outstanding Certified Nurse Aide to join their Clinical team. This role involves providing direct patient care and assisting residents with daily living activities, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and transporting them. The Certified Nurse Aide will also be responsible for observing and reporting any changes in resident condition or safety concerns to the nurse, coordinating with the nursing team to record vital signs and ADLs, and maintaining infection control standards. Promptly responding to call lights and assessing resident needs are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

Minimum one year working with the geriatric population.
Certified nursing aide licensure required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow all care plan directives.
Administer direct patient care.
Assist residents to perform daily living activities such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, transfer and move residents.
Transport residents to dining rooms and various events and activities.
Initiate resident needs, assessment, and safety by observing and reporting any changes or unusual findings to the nurse.
Coordinate with nursing team members to record accurate vital signs.
Maintain records of ADLs.
Administer standard precautions and infection control standards by providing a clean and safe environment.
Promptly answer call lights.
On a regular basis conduct assesses resident’s needs and verify needs of the resident are met.
