Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Observe residents and report any changes in health or behavior to the nursing staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident living spaces.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Assist with documentation and maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Follow all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Nurse Aide (CNA) in the state of Nebraska.
  • Ability to lift and move residents safely.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
