About the position

10 & 2 Traffic School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Driving School Instructor to provide both theoretical and practical driving lessons to students of all ages and experience levels. The instructor will help students learn to operate a vehicle safely and confidently while adhering to industry standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Teach students the fundamentals of driving according to our curriculum, including traffic laws, road signs, and defensive driving techniques.
• Provide in-car training to students of all ages and levels of experience.
• Use training materials that track the progress of each individual student.
• Evaluate student's progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student's attendance, progress, and test results.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of students during driving lessons.
• Adhere to industry standards and guidelines for teaching driving skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher education.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no cancellation, suspensions or revocations in the past 3 years) and must pass a FDLE background check.
• Experience as a driving school instructor or a comparable role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
