Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in hospital and clinic settings under physician direction.
- Coordinate patient services including bracing and casting.
- Instruct patients on self-care and home programs.
- Manage post-operative care and follow-up calls to patients.
- Deliver athletic training services to high school and club programs.
- Assess, refer, and treat athletic injuries, tracking recovery progress.
- Develop and implement injury care and prevention programs.
- Adhere to all licensing board requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or a qualifying degree for NATA Certification.
- Current National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) Certification.
- Current Athletic Training license in the State of Montana.
- Current BLS Certification.
- CPR and First Aid Instructor Certifications.
- Experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal office practice preferred.
