About The Position

The Central Service Manager is responsible for providing managerial support for business operations at the facility. This includes training, coordinating clinic coverage, ensure patient scheduling and insurance verification, supervise prior authorization and recertification process as needed. Reports To: Operations

Requirements

  • Punctual and consistent attendance
  • Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
  • Customer Service oriented with the ability to express empathy
  • Knowledge on coding and billing preferred
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively handle multi-phone line system
  • Exhibits ethical and professional behavior
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate in medical office training course preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate between Patient Service Representative (PSR) and Central Authorizations (CA) to ensure timely authorizations from all payers
  • Ensure PSR complete insurance eligibility verifications monthly
  • Assist with PSR coverage
  • Assist with scheduling requests
  • Cross-train colleagues
  • Assists colleagues with tasks to ensure efficient workflow within the company
  • On-site clinic coverage as directed
  • Must be able to carry out all responsibilities of the Patient Services Representative and Centralized Service Representative (CSR)
  • Adhere to all HIPAA and company policies and procedures
  • Accepts other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for time keeping for CSR and CA.
