About the position
Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a Central Supply Tech located at Layton Parkway. This is a full-time position that involves various responsibilities related to the management and distribution of medical supplies and instruments within the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Stock Central Supply rooms.
- Prepare various items to be sterilized.
- Clean, package, sterilize, and distribute instruments.
- Clean and stock procedure rooms each week as needed.
- Unload supplies from the dock area and distribute to the proper locations.
- Collect bio hazardous waste and package for disposal.
- Collect linen bags.
- Purchase supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months Central Supply work experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to be on feet for entire shift including walking, pulling, pushing, twisting, lifting, and walking up and down stairs.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organized, detail oriented, and professional.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Excellent time management skills.
