About The Position
Sentara is hiring an experienced Central Sterile Service Technician II at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Central Sterile Services Technician II is responsible for decontamination, assembly, sterilization and storing of surgical instruments. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a sterile environment within the hospital, supporting the safety and well-being of both patients and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- HSD/GED REQUIRED
- CSS Certification REQUIRED
- 1 year sterilization or central sterile/CSS processing experience REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Decontamination, assembly, sterilization and storing of surgical instruments.
- Maintaining a sterile environment within the hospital.
- Supporting the safety and well-being of both patients and healthcare professionals.
