The FT Center Store Manager (H) is responsible for managing the Grocery Department, including hiring, training, and developing associates. This role involves supervising department associates, managing labor, and coaching them to achieve productivity expectations. The manager provides leadership and motivation to foster a culture aligned with the company's guiding principles and core values. They support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results, while ensuring excellent customer service. The position requires a strong understanding of store operations, product knowledge, and the ability to role model outstanding customer service. The manager is also responsible for controlling store expenses, maintaining department appearance, quality, variety, workplace safety, food safety, and sanitation. They ensure compliance with all company policies, local, state, and federal regulations, and maintain security standards. The role involves monitoring shrink, assisting with physical inventory, and ensuring proper utilization of advertising and sales promotion materials. The manager must also provide recognition and constructive counseling to associates.
