About the position
The Center Director at The Learning Experience is responsible for leading a childcare center, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and fostering a positive environment for both children and staff. This role involves managing daily operations, staffing, and implementing educational programs while driving enrollment and maintaining business performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example, demonstrating passion for making a difference in the lives of children and employees.
- Maintain the physical center environment and ensure compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
- Ensure the center is fully staffed with high-performing teachers by sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging employees.
- Guide teachers in implementing the proprietary curriculum and utilizing engaging characters to enhance learning.
- Deliver consistent business results, measured through family retention, enrollment growth, and operational efficiency.
- Process and maintain accounts receivable and payable, monthly P&L's, and employee payroll.
- Engage prospective families through in-person and virtual tours and organize community marketing events.
Requirements
- Two or more years of center leadership/management experience highly preferred.
- At least one year of center leadership/management experience required.
- State specific Administrative or Director credential, and any other state specific guidelines for the role.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
- Must meet any applicable background screening or state licensing requirements.
