About the position

Responsibilities
- Greeting children and helping them settle into the facility.
- Assisting with classroom and playground supervision.
- Supporting daily activities related to the operation of the classroom, including light cleaning duties.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of client files and information.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Up to 12 months of experience in a related field.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
- Must obtain an age-appropriate Child Development Accreditation (CDA) within the first 12 months of assignment, with costs covered by Penquis.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
