Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fundamental computer skills, including general web browsing and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Sufficient physical stamina and mobility for lifting, carrying, pushing and bending related to the support of individuals and/or the products/materials associated with the support of individuals.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an agency van.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager of CDS in coordinating the services and supports of the CDS program.
  • Assist in the daily operation, program development, staff training, participant support, and record keeping of the department.
  • Manage a caseload, which includes the development, implementation, monitoring, and modification of individual outcomes established in the Personal Plan.
  • Assist in the development, scheduling, and review of community-based and in-center activities and related data.
