About the position

The Microsoft Customer Insights - CDP Architect role involves leading the strategy and implementation of Customer Data Platform (CDP) solutions. This position requires expertise in integrating data from various sources, synthesizing customer profiles, and orchestrating customer journeys while ensuring seamless integration with downstream systems. The architect will collaborate with functional subject matter experts and IT stakeholders to define project roadmaps and data quality standards, ultimately enhancing customer insights and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Build the overarching strategy and high-level plan for CDP implementation.
  • Design and build integration with external systems/data sources leveraging CDP integration features.
  • Work with Functional SME to define roadmap for Customer Data Platform project.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to understand Data Sources, Data Quality, and Data Source Mapping.
  • Define Ingestion/Egression Patterns of data in Microsoft Customer Insights.
  • Understand dependencies amongst data sources and destinations to provide inputs for architecture and design documents.
  • Bring best practices for CDP and Journey orchestration to the engagement.
  • Work with internal and CDP vendor professional services to execute Omni channel use cases.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 end-to-end implementations of CDP project.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Customer Insights - Data and Microsoft Customer Insights - Journeys.
  • Overall 12+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years of crafting customer-centric datasets (i.e. CRM, Call Center, Marketing, MDM, CDP, Offline, Point of Sale, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of customer profile segmentation and experience in 360-degree view of customers in CDP for analytical processing and decision making.
  • Strong understanding of ETL, Data quality/Cleansing, and Identity resolution.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL, Data modeling, and Data warehouse.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of digital marketing, digital analytics, customer360, MarTech space is a big plus.
