About the position
As a CDL Truck Driver in the Van Fleet at Roehl Transport, you will be responsible for hauling no-touch freight across the 48 states and Canada. This position offers a unique opportunity to travel extensively while working with various shippers and locations. The role is designed to reward drivers for their time and performance through a Dynamic Pay Plan, and there are opportunities to increase your income by becoming a Driver Trainer or referring other drivers.
Responsibilities
- Haul no-touch freight across 48 states and Canada.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to various locations.
Requirements
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in over-the-road (OTR) driving preferred.
- Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with no-touch freight operations.
- Familiarity with the Van Primary Commercial Zone Map.
- Previous experience as a Driver Trainer.
