About the position

As the Equipment Operator, you will operate Dyno Nobel Americas (DNA) trucks and specialty equipment to prepare and deliver any company explosive products to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. You will be responsible for driving/operating straight bed vehicles over public roads in order to move or deliver explosive products to company or customer sites. Other duties will include completing inventory records, other appropriate documentation, and reports, driving and operating bulk/blend truck in order to prepare and deliver quality ANFO products to customer sites, operating and performing maintenance on straight, ANFO, and dewatering trucks, calibrating equipment, calculating fuel percentages and checking emulsion density, loading and unloading all trucks, maintaining magazines, sites, and inventories, following all safety procedures, and preparing and maintaining all records and reports concerning the handling and transportation of explosive products.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Dyno Nobel trucks and specialty equipment to deliver explosive products safely and efficiently.
  • Complete inventory records and appropriate documentation.
  • Drive and operate bulk/blend truck to prepare and deliver ANFO products.
  • Perform maintenance on straight, ANFO, and dewatering trucks.
  • Calibrate equipment and check emulsion density.
  • Load and unload trucks, maintain magazines, sites, and inventories.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions.
  • Prepare and maintain records concerning the handling and transportation of explosive products.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • CDL Class A or B license required.
  • Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain it.
  • 36+ months of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate and perform minor maintenance on heavy motor vehicles.
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
