About the position

The CDL Driver - Hydro Vac operates a Super Vacuum Truck to transport various oil field-related fluids safely and efficiently. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety of personnel at work sites while adhering to operational protocols and compliance with regulations. The driver is responsible for vehicle maintenance, documentation, and representing the company professionally during all operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate the Super Vacuum Truck to pick up, haul, and unload various fluids.
• Operate high-pressure pump and monitor job activities and conditions using equipment gauges and hand signals.
• Carry and lay out hoses and joints of pipe from the truck to the wellhead.
• Connect and disconnect hoses and joints of pipe using hand tools.
• Follow safe operating procedures according to job specifications and equipment requirements.
• Ensure the truck is loaded and secured properly and is compliant with D.O.T. requirements.
• Maintain driver qualification records and ensure all paperwork is documented correctly.
• Drive courteously and make timely deliveries while maintaining safe driving practices.
• Represent the company respectfully while in uniform and perform various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a CDL A driver.
• Valid CDL A license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Tanker and HazMat endorsement preferred.
• Meet all Federal Motor Carrier D.O.T. requirements and safety qualifications.
• Current D.O.T. medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and interpret driving routes, safety rules, and operating instructions.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to pass D.O.T. pre-employment physical.
• Ability to work night or weekend shifts as necessary.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• CDL certification from an accredited driving school and one year of similar driving experience; experience may be substituted.
• Experience in the energy industry.
