Responsibilities

• Load the truck and deliver chemicals to customer locations safely.
• Complete pre-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working order.
• Maintain up-to-date logs and timesheets, and ensure shipping documents are current.
• Unload the truck by dropping off drums or pumping chemicals into bulk tanks.
• Perform post-trip inspections and remove empty containers from the truck.
• Conduct minor maintenance on the truck and keep it clean.
• Operate a forklift and ensure loads are secured properly.
• Document bills of lading and shipping documents accurately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months of DOT HAZMAT driving experience required.
• Class A Commercial license with HAZMAT endorsements prior to hiring.
• Must pass a Homeland Security background check.
