About the position
As a CDL Delivery Specialist at Carter Lumber, you will play a crucial role in transporting orders to local customer jobsites safely and efficiently. This position offers a stable schedule that allows you to be home every night while providing opportunities for career growth within a family-owned company that values honesty and hard work.
Responsibilities
- Transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using company-owned fleet.
- Ensure daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Unload materials on-site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place materials as needed.
Requirements
- Previous delivery experience with trusses and building materials.
- Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
- An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
- Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
- Ability to be a team player.
- 3+ years of driving experience.
