About the position
The Class A Driver position at the leading beer distributor in the United States involves local deliveries, ensuring timely and safe transportation of products to customers. This full-time role requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and offers a consistent schedule with weekends off, allowing drivers to be home every night.
Responsibilities
- Unload and deliver products to customers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, including conveyors and carts.
- Securely operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Pick up returned products, including payments and pallets.
- Complete delivery and pick-up paperwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Prior touch freight experience is highly desired.
- Experience with local deliveries preferred.
