About The Position

Regional CDL-A drivers in Baton Rouge run steady freight with weekly home time and organized dispatch scheduling through Rouse Trucking. This is a home weekly position built for CDL-A truck drivers who want consistent miles and a schedule that makes it easier to plan life outside of work. You'll run regional freight with routes designed to keep drivers moving efficiently while maintaining reliable home time throughout the month.

Requirements

A valid CDL-A license
At least 1 year of verified over-the-road experience
Show up prepared and ready to work professionally

Responsibilities

Run regional freight with routes designed to keep drivers moving efficiently.
Maintain reliable home time throughout the month.
Drive assigned Peterbilt 579.
Adhere to organized dispatch scheduling.
Participate in orientation covering what CDL-A truck drivers need before hitting the road.

Benefits

Weekly pay averaging $1,375 to $1,575
6 full days home every month with scheduling flexibility
Late-model Peterbilt 579s equipped with SiriusXM, inverters, TV mounts, refrigerators, and Espar bunk heaters.
Drivers are assigned their own truck, so there is no slip seating and no constantly changing equipment setups.

Additional compensation is available for stops, breakdowns, detention, layover, and clean inspection bonuses.
Equipment maintenance is handled on a consistent service schedule to help reduce downtime.
Transition pay during your first few weeks while learning lanes and getting familiar with the operation.

Drivers leave orientation with their assigned truck and first dispatch.
