CDL-A LOCAL REEFER FOR GROCERIES
About The Position
This is a local CDL-A driving position focused on transporting frozen and fresh groceries. Drivers will operate reefer trailers with slip seating and will primarily handle no-touch freight. Occasional driver assistance may be required, specifically with an electric pallet jack. The role involves approximately 15+ stops per week across 2 loads per day, with an estimated 1409 miles driven weekly. Drivers will be compensated between $0.68 - $0.74cpm. Trucks are equipped with slip seating, and uniforms are provided. Various schedules and start times are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Requirements
- Valid Class A driver's license
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical card
- Minimum 3 months tractor-trailer experience in the last 12 months
- No SAP drivers
Responsibilities
- Transport frozen and fresh groceries using reefer trailers.
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination.
- Perform approximately 15+ stops per week.
- Complete 2 loads per day.
- Assist with freight when necessary, using an electric pallet jack.
- Adhere to a clean driving record.
- Maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
