About The Position

This role involves providing intensive care to patients with serious heart conditions, such as heart attacks and cardiac complications, by closely monitoring their status and responding quickly to changes. It also involves administering critical medications, operating specialized equipment, and assisting in emergencies like cardiac arrest. The role also involves coordinating with healthcare teams and supporting patients and their families during high-risk situations.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience required.
• Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions.
• Certificates Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Strong cardiac ICU experience - CCU or CVICU required.
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR)
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention
• Sheath Removal
• IV therapy
• Respiratory/Thoracic
• CVA/Acute Stroke management

Nice To Haves

• EPIC Charting System Experience preferred.
