About the position
NORCAL Ambulance, the largest Critical Care Transport (CCT) provider in Northern California, is actively seeking CCT-Registered Nurses (CCT-RN) for our Fly Car opportunity. If you have two years of ER, ICU, or prior Critical Care Transport (CCT)/ Flight (EMT-P or RN) experience and are excited to learn something new daily, we would love to chat!
Responsibilities
- Manage and provide care to a diverse population of critically ill or injured patients of all ages, including pediatrics, in a mobile environment, one patient at a time
- Function as a leader and mentor to a team of specialty trained CCT EMTs
- Communicate and consult with primary medical providers, facilities, patients and their families, establishing a plan of care based on best practices and standing protocols.
Requirements
- California RN License
- CA Drivers License (Required)
- Minimum two years of recent ER, ICU, or prior Critical Care Transport/Flight experience (RN or EMT-P)
- AHA BLS Certification
- AHA ACLS Certification
- AHA PALS Certification
