About the position
The CBS News Internship in Philadelphia is designed to provide students with meaningful educational and field experience in television broadcasting. Interns will gain exposure to industry professionals and develop their personal and career skills while learning how a news department operates and covers news in the Philadelphia region.
Responsibilities
- Learn how a news department operates and provides news coverage of the Philadelphia region.
- Be assigned to various areas such as news, sports, weather, digital content, the assignment desk, or the tape library.
- Observe work in the field alongside reporters and photographers.
Requirements
- Good computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Eligibility for internships as a Junior, Senior, or Master's student in the fall of 2025.
