About the position
The Cath Lab Technologist position involves working in a cardiac catheterization lab, performing interventional procedures and assisting in the care of patients undergoing cardiac interventions. The role requires a strong background in cath lab technology, including experience with radiological equipment and certifications in ACLS and BLS. The position is for a 13-week assignment with a focus on teamwork and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
- Assist in device implants and structural heart procedures.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate with a cohesive team to provide quality patient care.
- Be on call for after-hour cases as needed.
Requirements
- 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
- Current ARRT or RCIS certification.
- Current BCLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- MRT license required for working with radiological equipment in Texas.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Structural Heart procedures such as TAVR and Mitra Clips.
