The Assistant Catering & Events Manager supports the Senior Catering & Events Manager in the full lifecycle of on-site catering and event operations for a dynamic corporate campus environment. Working closely with culinary, facilities, and executive stakeholder teams, this role is instrumental in translating client visions into seamlessly executed experiences. The ideal candidate is a hospitality-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service at every touchpoint—from intimate executive gatherings to large-scale all-hands events.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in CaterTrax and OmniXM Catering Solution is expected.
  • Working knowledge of event budgeting, product cost management, and labor targets.
  • A collaborative mindset, strong organizational skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating and executing Tier 1 and Tier 2 events, including C-Suite functions, quarterly meetings, and seasonal celebrations, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and adherence to Bon Appétit’s service and sustainability standards.
  • Support the management of BEO documentation and event proposals.
  • Help maintain stakeholder preference profiles for key clients.
  • Serve as a dependable liaison between the catering team, culinary partners, CBRE event leads, and Executive Assistants.
  • Assist in driving the team’s commitment to the Fuel brand, Farm2Fork culinary principles, and Intuit’s Sustainable Event Planning guidelines, ensuring every event reflects both operational excellence and the client’s cultural values.
