About the position
The Cat Scan Technologist position at St. Luke's involves performing various CT scans and assisting Radiologists during invasive procedures for diagnostic purposes. This part-time role is specifically for weekends, with shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM, and offers a premium weekend rate along with benefits.
Responsibilities
- Perform various CT scans as required.
- Assist Radiologists during invasive procedures for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning of CT machines.
- Provide patient care and support during scanning procedures.
- Document and report any issues or concerns regarding patient scans.
Requirements
- Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT registered or ARRT registry eligible.
- One year of staff technologist experience required.
- Advanced CT registry required within one year from hire date.
- Current CPR certification required before completion of orientation.
- History of computer usage experience required.
