Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and welcome them to the restaurant.
• Promote a fun and positive work environment.
• Work effectively with others on the line and communicate with cooks and managers.
• Be knowledgeable about all menu items to make meal suggestions and answer questions.
• Verify guest orders for accuracy and manage 'to-go' orders.
• Process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures.
• Visit tables after food delivery to ensure guests have everything they need.
• Encourage guests to complete surveys and adhere to marketing promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area, and restrooms.
• Follow company cash policies to minimize losses through theft or shortages.
• Upsell food items to guests through thoughtful suggestions.

Requirements

• No experience necessary; training will be provided.
• Must successfully complete Smashburger training program.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 25 lbs.
• Availability to work variable hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Adhere to Smashburger uniform policy.
• Ability to follow all guidelines and procedures set forth by Smashburger and local regulations.
• Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents.
