About the position

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the grocery store.
• Help customers find the location of products.
• Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience.
• Provide information and resolve customer complaints.
• Process merchandise returns and exchanges.
• Complete sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or other point-of-sale system.
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, or debit cards.
• Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins.
• Ensure merchandise at the counter is fully stocked, neatly arranged, and attractively displayed.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
• Stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Work a flexible schedule based on store needs.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required.
