About the position

The Cashier/Guest Services Representative at Nothing Bundt Cakes is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests, providing exceptional customer service, and selling delicious cakes. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a memorable experience and embodying the company's core values of guest satisfaction and workplace excellence.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in and phone guests warmly and enthusiastically to determine their interests and needs.
• Educate guests on cake distinctions, size and flavor options, pricing, and promotions.
• Suggest additional merchandise to enhance celebrations, such as balloons and cards.
• Process guest orders accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Invite guests to join the NbC Email Club for special promotions.
• Maintain a clean and organized bakery presentation, including routine cleaning tasks.
• Replenish retail merchandise and cake displays for strong visual presentation.
• Assist in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code and hygiene standards.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Previous guest service experience at a bakery, restaurant, or retail store is a plus.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Comfortable with operating a point-of-sale system and basic arithmetic.
