About the position
The Cash Disbursement Analyst I position is primarily responsible for managing vendor maintenance processes and ensuring compliance with internal control policies. This role involves preparing and reviewing purchase requisitions, invoices, and expense reports, while also coordinating timely payments to vendors. The analyst will work closely with various departments to maintain positive vendor relationships and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage vendor maintenance processes.
- Assist with preparation and review of purchase requisitions.
- Review invoices and vouchers for accuracy.
- Prepare invoice batches and expense reports.
- Process checks and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Ensure compliance with company, regulatory, accounting, and internal control policies.
- Provide high-level customer service to vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and follow project plans.
- Troubleshoot financial systems related to disbursements.
- Provide training and guidance to new team members on Accounts Payable policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Zero to one year of accounts payable experience.
