About the position

The Cash Application Specialist position is an entry-level role within the Accounts Receivable team at a major food retailer. Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile account receivables and remittances
• Review payments and apply them to the correct customer account
• Create regular reports to accurately track financial information
• Address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies
• Engage in collection management processes as necessary
• Assist department with other AR related work including credit/collections as needed
• Manipulate data using Excel

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
• Highly organized and able to multitask
• Able to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Excel
