About the position

The Caseworker I at Parkview North Hospital is responsible for providing a range of services to clients of all ages, including monitoring and supportive interventions. This role involves communication with treatment team members and family, arranging transportation services, responding to crisis calls, and providing crisis intervention in collaboration with the team.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and provide supportive interventions to clients.
  • Communicate client progress and issues to the treatment team and family members.
  • Arrange transportation services for clients as needed.
  • Respond to crisis calls and provide crisis intervention in consultation with the treatment team.

Requirements

  • Must have an Associate degree in a mental health, human services field, or related field, or equivalent behavioral health experience.
  • Must have a valid state driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Completion of non-crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire.
  • CANS 0-5 certification required within 30 days of hire for specific offices.
  • CANS 5-17 certification required within 30 days of hire for specific offices.
  • ANSA certification required within 30 days for most areas.
