About the position

The Case Management position at Girling Personal Care involves staffing and managing client care to ensure satisfaction and meet company financial goals. The role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage schedules and staff assignments efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers.
  • Plan, assign, and direct the work of assigned employees.
  • Utilize scheduling software for staff assignments.
  • Perform daily office functions for organized operations.
  • Staff all cases and shifts in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Maintain and confirm weekly schedules.
  • Document pertinent information in client and worker logs.
  • Communicate relevant information to the Operations Manager daily.
  • Handle intake calls and convert them to active status.
  • Alternate on-call duties and take appropriate actions as needed.
  • Update client requirements for new active clients.
  • Make care calls to clients every 30 days.
  • Assist the Case Manager Specialist with supervisory visits as needed.
  • Provide fill-in client care during emergencies.
  • Assist in interviewing and making hiring decisions.
  • Verify worker time-slips.
  • Handle coaching, counseling, and terminations of workers.
  • Attend unemployment hearings as needed.
  • Meet or exceed individual and department goals/KPIs.
  • Attend scheduled meetings.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle telephone requests calmly and positively.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • CNA preferred.
  • Some college preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
