About the position

The Case Manager at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health plays a crucial role in supporting children with special needs in a group home setting. This position involves providing case management services, coordinating treatment plans, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the lives of vulnerable youth. The role is ideal for recent graduates in the mental health field seeking hands-on experience in a supportive environment focused on behavioral healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services including communication with external agencies.
• Coordinate transportation related to treatment and educational needs.
• Facilitate treatment team meetings in collaboration with the Program Director and Clinician.
• Implement the primary clinical treatment model of ABA within a trauma-informed care framework.
• Support the development of social, coping, and independent living skills in children ages 5-12.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or Social Work.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field preferred with two years of experience in child welfare.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Obtain certification as a Child Protection Professional upon hire.
