About The Position

John Knox Village is seeking caring, friendly, and reliable Part‑Time Cart Drivers to provide safe and comfortable transportation for our residents throughout our beautiful 70‑acre Life Plan Community. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a supportive team. About John Knox Village John Knox Village is a not‑for‑profit Life Plan Retirement Community offering independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care to more than 1,000 residents. Our scenic campus in Pompano Beach is conveniently located near major highways and transportation options. About the Role As a Cart Driver, you will respond to transportation requests promptly and courteously, ensuring residents reach their destinations safely. You will anticipate passenger needs, assist with entering and exiting the cart, and maintain a clean, well‑kept vehicle. Your warm personality and attention to safety will help create a positive experience for every resident you serve.

Requirements

• Safe driving record
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute
• This position is subject to Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law.

Nice To Haves

• Prior passenger driving experience preferred
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident transport requests in a timely manner
• Provide friendly, courteous service to all passengers
• Assist passengers entering and exiting the cart safely
• Observe all traffic laws and safety procedures
• Maintain clean and well‑presented vehicles
• Support a positive, resident‑centered environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
