About The Position

This is a high-volume sales role where you will be on the phone extensively. The primary focus is on building relationships with freight carriers, negotiating rates, and problem-solving when issues arise with loads. Your day will involve managing open loads and active carrier relationships, calling carriers to find capacity for customer freight across North America, negotiating rates quickly, monitoring shipments, and proactively addressing any problems. A key aspect of the role is building strong carrier relationships to ensure repeat business and hitting daily activity targets, as volume is crucial for improvement and earning potential.

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced, phone-heavy sales or customer-facing role.
  • Comfort with rejection.
  • A history of meeting or exceeding goals, whatever field they came from.
  • Experience in retail, customer service, or any phone-based sales role is a real foundation.

  • A logistics or freight background.
  • A degree in business or supply chain.

Responsibilities
