About The Position
Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in the Chattanooga and Cleveland areas. As a caregiver, you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improving their quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous Top Notch Caregiving experience required
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Chattanooga and Cleveland, TN
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide medication reminders and support with mobility and exercise routines
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to improve mental and emotional well-being
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and changes
- Maintain accurate records of care and report any concerns promptly
