About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care – Merrillville is now hiring Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Personal Care Aides (PCA), Direct Support Professionals (DSP), and Home Care Assistants to provide high-quality, non-medical, in-home care to seniors and adults in Merrillville, IN and nearby communities. If you are compassionate, dependable, and enjoy helping others, we want to hear from you.
Requirements
- Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, DSP, or similar role preferred
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient
- Ability to pass National background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing)
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and emotional support
- Transportation and errands (if applicable)
- Support clients with mobility and transfers
