Caregiver – Christian Sitters (Jackson, MS Area)
About The Position
Christian Sitters is seeking compassionate, reliable Caregivers to provide quality support, companionship, and daily care for our clients. We serve families with a heart-centered approach grounded in faith, compassion, and professionalism. Christian Sitters is a non-medical home care agency that offers non-skilled services to all our clients. Our personal care services include assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and helping individuals move between the bathroom, bed, and chair. Additionally, we provide homemaking services such as light meal preparation, light housekeeping, sweeping, mopping, laundry, changing bed linens, dishwashing, trash removal, vacuuming, bed-making, running errands, scheduling and accompanying to doctor appointments, pharmacy visits, grocery shopping, and hair appointments. Our goal is to assist in any way we can.
Requirements
- Experience as a caregiver preferred (but not required)
- CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)
- Valid ID and reliable transportation
- A compassionate and patient-hearted demeanor
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Assist with mobility and safety
- Communicate changes in client condition
- Follow care plans and Christian Sitters standards of care
