About The Position
CareFor is hiring compassionate caregivers to support clients at home. CareFor is searching for caregivers who live in Horseshoe Bay, Marble Falls, Burnet, Llano, or surrounding areas, for steady, ongoing day or overnight shifts with clients in Horseshoe Bay. This job is ideal for caregivers who live within 30-45 minutes of Horseshoe Bay. These shifts are not in central, north, or east Austin—please apply only if you can reliably commute to Horseshoe Bay. Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Reliable transportation to drive yourself to Horseshoe Bay
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience OR a valid CNA license
- Are compassionate, patient, and genuinely enjoy helping others
- Understand the value of dependability because showing up matters
- Want to grow your caregiving skills and are open to training
- Take pride in maintaining a safe, respectful care environment
- Are comfortable working independently in client homes
Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Offer walks on the driveway, time outside for fresh air, reading aloud, medication reminders, and meals (light preparation)
- Assist in walker use for all ambulation
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Follow care plans and training to deliver high-quality, respectful care
- Communicate clearly with clients, families, and the CareFor team to ensure continuity of care
